I’ve spent my life chasing creativity, curiosity, and a good challenge. For the past 20 years I’ve worked in live entertainment as a theatrical lighting designer, shaped by an early foundation in music and dance. Those disciplines taught me how movement breathes, how rhythm guides emotion, and how light can become a character in its own right. Today, that translates into a cinematic design style rooted in deep saturated color, bold body modeling, and transitions that flow as naturally as choreography. I love crafting moments that feel emotional and effortlessly immersive, even when the lighting itself feels invisible.
When I’m not in a theater, I’m almost always in my design studio. I’m endlessly curious and constantly tinkering, prototyping, or reverse-engineering something. My brain loves solving problems, building systems, and dreaming up new approaches. Outside the creative world, I’m an investor and real-estate entrepreneur with a portfolio of single-family homes, apartments, and commercial spaces. One of my favorite ventures is a small business incubator program that gives first-time renters and new entrepreneurs a flexible, low-risk way to grow. When I’m not designing or building something, I’m usually traveling with my husband Diego, collecting memories, inspiration, and way too many photos of whatever light is doing in that moment. I’m a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829. |
